A new solo exhibition by Michel Verjux is on display at the gallery. The artist, with whom the gallery has built a long-standing relationship dating back to his first solo exhibition in 2001, has been developing his practice since 1983 through éclairages – light installations consisting of projections of geometric figures – squares, cones, cylinders and other shapes – conceived in close relation to the architecture and the specific characteristics of each location. By adopting light as the primary element of his artistic language, Verjux explores the limits of perception and establishes an ongoing dialogue between space, vision and presence, transforming each installation into an experience that redefines the relationship between the artwork, its surroundings and the viewer.
